* About S production *
S Production started back in 1999 when we were given a task by our English teacher to record an English drama competition by our juniors. Since we had to transfer the video from the video recorder to a video tape, we decided to spice things up by adding a few things. We thought for a few minutes and we finally made a decision to add something to represent all of us. We couldn't think of a name at first, but of course we eventually thought of a name and it was Something Production [for those of you who was wondering what S originally stands for, it's actually Something =)]. Seems a little bit cheesy doesn't it?
There were originally 11 of us in the production, all of whom were Moffatts' fans. We eventually sort of forgot about S Production in the early 2000 because we were all busy with school work and other things. But somehow, we were inspired to start our own newsletter so we decided to focus on that. In the middle of the year we decided to start a Moffatts' fan club, so we decided to use the name, S Production, back again. But by now, there was only 7 of us left because the other 4 left the group for other reasons. The name of our Moffatts' fan club was Mo-Phat Clique. The club is now an online newsletter thingy.
We couldn't really focus on the management of the club at first because we were all facing our Lower Certificate of Education (LCE). But by the time the exam ended we were all on our feet busy planning future projects for S Production. So far we've had a few successful projects and we will be working on more projects in the near future.
Besides promoting the Moffatts to our friends, we also make our own products and sell it to other people. Our products include candles, decoration wax, cards, photo frames, bracelets, notebooks and more [you can find our products at the Products page]. You can find us selling our products at a local flea market on some Sundays.
During the Moffatts' stay in Malaysia, we were also involved in a few unofficial things. For example we made a banner to welcome the Moffatts at the airport and we also made our own Moffatts' t-shirt and we made tags for the Malaysian Moffatts Fans (MMF).
S Production lives by the motto "One Love, One Dream, One Passion". The motto means that all of us share one love (the Moffatts), one dream (to meet the Moffatts), and one passion (their music). Without the Moffatts, all of this wouldn't happen or exist. We were inspired to start S Production because of the Moffatts, and because of them we found the true meaning of friendship and they have changed our lives in a lot of different aspect. We hope to stay friends forever and hopefully S Production will be well established in the near future.
